Village Shops
Your own storefront in the Winter Village, right in the middle of the holidays.
From November 28 to December 27, the National Western Center plaza becomes Western Wonderland. Shoppers wander through with something warm in their hands, looking for a gift made by someone local.
This year, a limited number of vendors get something extra: an actual shop. Our sponsor, Tuff Shed, is providing a row of walk-in shops, each with a door that locks. Hang your lights, fill your shelves and open the door to holiday shoppers.
Staying for a longer run? Your shop turns into your own little store. Close up at night, lock the door, and it's all right there waiting when you come back.
Shops are for retail and packaged goods, so there's no cooking inside. Selling food or drinks? Skip down to the food and drink spots. We'd love to have you in the village too.
Pick your space
For retail products and packaged goods. Selling days are opening weekend on November 28 and 29, then Thursday to Sunday through December 20. Shops and tents also open for the Last-Minute Market, Monday to Wednesday, December 21 to 23, from 2 to 9pm. We are closed December 24 and 25. The December 26 and 27 send-off is for food and drink vendors.

Ways to save
Early booking comes off the package price, so you save on both. For shops and tents: 3 or more days in one week, the full season and all three Last-Minute Market days.
Sat + Sun, Thursday to Sunday and the full season each cost less than the same days booked one at a time.
Nov 28 to Dec 20, 14 days. That is 10% under the weekly packages, plus 10% off for applying by Oct 31. Small shop: $1,377. Includes a 20A circuit.
Weekday is Thursday or Friday. The Last-Minute Market, Monday to Wednesday, December 21 to 23, 2 to 9pm, is priced per day at the weekday rate, with 10% off all three days when you apply by October 31. Sat + Sun is the price for both days of a weekend, including opening weekend on November 28 and 29. The full season is 14 days: the opening weekend plus the three Thursday to Sunday weeks, November 28 to December 20. It does not include the Last-Minute Market, which is priced by the day. Savings compare each package with the same days booked one at a time. Any 3 days saves the most when it includes a weekend day.
A large shop for the full season is $1,620 when you apply by October 31, the Last-Minute Market adds $337.50, and both together come to $1,957.50. Two businesses can share a large shop or a tent when they sell together on the same days. Sharing adds $40 a day, and we split the total between the two businesses when we invoice. Both businesses apply. Food and drink vendors pay $50 a day plus 10% of sales.

Power
A 20A circuit for lights, a card reader and one small heater is included with a full-season shop. Everyone else can add power, priced by the length of your stay, with 30A and 50A for bigger setups.
Wifi
Optional NWC wifi access for a small fee, priced by the length of your stay. It covers basic use like a card reader, not streaming. Plan on your phone's data for card payments in case the signal does not reach your space.

A full-season shop includes one 20A circuit for all 14 days. Staying more than one week? Add your weeks together, or take the all 14 days price if you are there the whole time. All 14 days is the opening weekend plus the three Thursday to Sunday weeks, November 28 to December 20. The Last-Minute Market, December 21 to 23, uses the per-day prices. The early-booking discount applies to space only. We confirm availability before anything is due.
Selling food or drinks?
Food and drink vendors add so much to Western Wonderland, and we'd love to have you in the Winter Village.
There's no cooking inside the shops, so you'll set up in a food truck, a food trailer or a tent. Food and drink is $50 a day plus 10% of sales, whichever you serve from. On the application, choose prepared food or drinks and it will take you through the right options.
